From the garden of Eden, through the garden of Gethsemane, the story of God’s covenant relationship with man is presented. In 24 sessions participants will reflect on and discuss assigned readings. Key points are reinforced in video’s produced by Ascension Press. Learn to study and interpret the Bible like a Catholic!
- A pastoral, practical approach to scripture – an introduction to God and the wonderful narrative in the Bible.
- The story line of salvation history presented in an easy-to-understand chronological order.
- For the story we focus on narrative writings. See where other types of writing fit in.
- Faithful to the Catholic Church, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and Vatican II’s Dei Verbum
- Discover and understand ‘Our Story’ within the context of God’s overall story for humanity.
- Develop a level of comfort reading, understanding, and living sacred scripture.
