Dear Parishioners,

Happy Easter, everyone! Easter has a special added significance as we celebrate during this Extraordinary Holy Year of Mercy. Saint Paul (1 Cor 5:6) reminds us that it only takes a “little bit of yeast” to make the whole loaf rise. In our own lives, a “little bit of mercy” is all that it takes to make of us a people who are gentle, loving, kind, sincere and true. Mercy given, received and celebrated make us better people, better families, better Church and a better creation. Easter gives us all the opportunity to begin life all over again!

O God of undying life, by your mighty hand you raised up Jesus from the grave and appointed him judge of the living and the dead. Bestow upon those baptized into his death the power flowing from his resurrection, that we may proclaim far and near the pardon and peace you give.

Congratulations to Fabian Cardona Santos, Marlen Beaton, Angel Guillot, Jose Marie, Mike Ohman, Jennifer Rodriquez, Fred Rice, and Ryan Silva who were Baptized, Confirmed and received Communion last night at the Easter Vigil Celebration. May they follow the Lord Jesus faithfully in His Holy Catholic Church all the days of their lives!

May the week ahead be filled with countless graces and blessings!

Fr. Bob
